Bancroft's DFAS at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society

Two members of Bancroft's DFAS volunteered for the Museum of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society making bags for nine of its largest pieces of silverware (candelabra, a salver, a 'warwick vase' etc). The cloth they used is specially made for museums as it contains a product that inhibits tarnishing. The silver is now being cleaned and the bags will ensure that there is a long interval before it will have to be cleaned again!
The project has been supported by the Friends of Leamington Art Gallery who funded training and conservation materials. |
