How to Become a Church Recorder

All Church Recorders must be members of NADFAS

There are NADFAS Societies all over the country, many with Church Recorder groups. To find your nearest Society go to the Join Us! section. Societies with a Church Recording Group are indicated by the letters 'CR'.

You do not have to belong to a Society to be a member of their Church Recorder group - there may be a long waiting list for membership or you might not wish to be a member. In that case you can join NADFAS as a national member - for details and application form click here

If you have any problems downloading the application form, please visit Adobe to download a free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Most Church Recorder groups will be happy to invite you to come to the church where they are working and find out if it is something you want to do. To see some examples of Church Recorders’ work please visit our case studies page.

Above all, NADFAS must be fun. -- Patricia Fay, Founder
