List of Recorded Churches
NADFAS Church Recorders produce complete Records of the contents of places of worship of all denominations. Over 1,520 churches have been recorded and so far 945 have been indexed. Based on this index we offer an enquiry service for researchers who wish to discover if information relevant to their research is contained in our Records.
The information available includes the names of artists, manufacturers and retailers, the names of donors and of those commemorated. An enquiry can be followed up by consulting a copy of the Record in county record offices or the National Monuments Record Centre in Swindon; the Church Buildings Council Library and National Art Library at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London or equivalent organisations in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.
