Wessex Area ArtFest 2016

Following the great success of previous years, our Wessex Area will be holding another ArtFest on Tuesday 12 April 2016 at Sturminster Newton in Dorset. On display will be the work of talented members from all 21 Societies in the Wessex Area. All are welcome.

Coming Soon! A new evening Society in Taunton!

We are delighted to announce that another NADFAS Society will be opening later this year in Taunton. 

Taunton Evening DFAS will be opening on 8 September 2016 and will meet at the Taunton Conference Centre. 

Benahavis DFAS Art in Action 2016

Following the huge success of this event in previous years, Benahavis DFAS will be holding Art in Action 2016 on Sunday 7 February at the Gran Hotel Benahavis****Spa. Doors open at 12.00 and close at 17.00.

NADFAS RBA Scholars at the Mall Galleries 2015-6

In 2015 the Royal Society of British Artists chose artworks by 35 NADFAS RBA Scholars to be shown at their annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries,London in March.  In addition the students work was displayed at the RBA's Rising Stars exhibition at Lloyds Register Gallery throughout Feb

Our fledgling Society in Malta gets off to a great start with a successful 'taster' lecture

Our fledgling new Society in Malta held a highly successful taster event on 16th April. Between 230 and 250 attended the event at Le Meridien Hotel and Spa in Bellutta Bay, St Julian’s.

National Heritage, the museums action movement and a charity, was founded 44 years ago to support museum users, visitors and scholars, and one of its accomplishments was the Museum of the Year Award, now enlarged to become the Art Fund Museum of the Year Award.
