What we do

NADFAS is a national organisation which supports local Decorative and Fine Arts Societies. Each local Society brings together like-minded individuals to share their appreciation of and commitment to the arts. All local Societies have an exciting programme of monthly arts lectures, study days and gallery visits. In addition, Members have the opportunity to join a broad range of hands-on preservation and conservation projects

Societies

NADFAS supports hundreds of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies across Britain and around the world. Societies bring together like-minded people to enjoy the arts and to work on heritage preservation projects

NADFAS Church Trails

A NADFAS Church Trail is a question sheet that guides children and accompanying adults round a church and encourages them to engage with the architecture, history and furnishings

Church Recording

Church Recorders promote recognition and preservation of the rich artistic heritage in places of worship by recording the contents of churches of all denominations and religions

Heritage Volunteers

NADFAS Heritage Volunteers are teams of committed non-specialist volunteers who work under the guidance of curators and other professionals to help conserve our heritage

NADFAS and Young People

NADFAS provides children and young people with exciting opportunities to get involved in creative arts activities.

Grant giving

NADFAS supports the arts and arts heritage through a substantial grant giving programme.
